On Monday, Hilaree Nelson, 49, was skiing down the 26,775-foot (8,163-meter) peak with her partner Jim Morrison when she vanished. They were together at the time. Today, her body is found and Hilaree Nelson died.
After falling from the eighth-highest peak in Nepal, a mountaineer was found to have tragically lost her life.
On Wednesday morning, helicopters were used to discover Hilaree Nelson’s body on the south face of Mount Manaslu, according to the confirmation given by her tour operator, Shangri-La Nepal Trek.
